In 2020, when COVID- 19 hit our communities, we came together as a rapid response to provide support and better protect workers and public health. We achieved the EO-192 that highlights basic protections against COVID and managed a significant health & safety training program throughout the state. Our coalition trained 5,000 workers in 2020 and 2021 and put together a train-the-trainer program that involved 100 leaders from our organizations.

In 2022 we are building our coalition to advance our effort and continue protecting workers around health and safety. We plan to raise workers' standards in New Jersey by passing a policy that allows workers to form Health & Safety Workers Committees inside their workplaces. Health and safety committees are that voice for us as workers and are the space for us to ensure compliance.
